Product Description
Harmony XPE Foot switches provide an ideal start and stop solution for industrial machinery operating in various modes.
These modes include: : Conventional ( Pulsed ) Start, slow, and maintain operation.
This product series includes metal foot switches ( Heavy-duty, high-risk ) and plastic foot switches ( Lightweight, low-risk )。
Safety Contacts
Switches with positive break quick-acting contacts.
Foot switches can have one or two N/C + N/O contact blocks.
Positive break operation via pedal: the pedal's “pressed position” or “rest position” ( Machine braking ) is a positive action.
Positive break action
If all of a switch's N/C contacts can positively switch to the open position, meaning there is no elastic connection between the moving contact and the operating mechanism, then the switch meets the requirements.
All foot switches operated by pedals have a positive break action quick-acting N/C + N/O contact block, and fully comply with IEC 60947-5-1 standard section 3 requirements.
Quick-acting contacts ( Quick disconnect )
The operating speed of the moving contact is independent of the operating speed of the operating mechanism. Even if the operating speed of the operating mechanism is low, the device can still maintain consistent electrical performance.
With 2 step contact operation switches with 2 Step contact operation foot switches are suitable for situations requiring dual-speed mechanical operation, such as:
First 1 speed : Low speed ( Used for setup, adjustment, or tool maintenance )
First 2 speed : Fast ( Normal machine operating speed )
