The Model 2730 externally actuated diaphragm valve consists of a pneumatic piston actuator, an integrated regulator, a diaphragm, and a two‑way valve body. The proven, rugged actuator features a plastic housing and is suitable for hygienic or corrosive service conditions. Its streamlined valve body with minimal dead space delivers high flow rates and versatile applications. Plastic valve bodies and diaphragms are available in a range of common materials and sizes. The actuator boasts a compact, autoclavable design (PPS version). Automation units—Top Control 8692/8693/8694 and Side Control 8635792/8793—can be integrated at any stage of expansion and are optionally add‑on capable. Explosion‑proof ATEX/IECEx‑certified models are also available. Plug‑in housings can be specified in either plastic or stainless steel. Standard equipment includes an integral visual position indicator; minimum/maximum stroke limiters are offered as optional accessories.
