The Model 2731 externally actuated diaphragm valve consists of a pneumatic piston actuator, an integrated regulator, a diaphragm, and a two‑way valve body. The proven, rugged actuator features a plastic housing, ensuring reliable operation in hygienic or corrosive environments. Its streamlined valve body, with minimal dead space, delivers high flow rates and supports a wide range of applications. Both the valve body and diaphragm are available in a variety of common materials and sizes. The actuator boasts a compact, autoclavable design (PPS version). Integration of the Top Control models 8692/8693/8694 and the Side Control models 8635/8792/8793 is possible at all stages of expansion and can be retrofitted as needed. Explosion‑proof ATEX/IECEx‑certified versions are also available. The plug‑in housing can be supplied in either plastic or stainless steel. Standard equipment includes an integrated visual position indicator; minimum/maximum stroke limiters are offered as optional accessories.
