3RU61/3RU51 Thermal Overload Relays

Application: The 3RU61/3RU51 thermal overload relays can be used for the protection of three-phase and single-phase AC or DC motors. If using the 3RU61/3RU51 thermal overload relay to protect a single-phase AC or DC load, three poles must be connected in series.

Ambient Temperature: According to IEC 60947-4-1, the 3RU61 thermal overload relay has compensation function in the temperature range of -40 to +60 ºC, and the 3RU51 thermal overload relay is -20 to 60 ºC.

Tripping Class: The 3RU61/3RU51 thermal overload relays are for CLASS 10 normal starting conditions.

Tripping Type: Overload and phase failure

Reset Type: Manual and automatic reset

Reset Time: Depends on the magnitude and characteristics of the tripping current        

Ambient Temperature: Storage/Transportation -55 ... +80ºC, temperature compensated to 60ºC                   

Permitted Rated Current: Control cabinet internal temperature 60 ºC, 100% (above +60 ºC requires derating); Control cabinet internal temperature 70 ºC, 87%  

Finger protection Complies with IEC 61140 standard  
 
Altitude: Up to 2000m.
 
Installation method: Plug-in connection with contactor or independent mounting bracket for independent installation.
