Product Description
SCHUNK Provides a wide range of sensors for inductive, magnetic, and optical monitoring of gripping, turning, linear modules, and robot accessories. In addition to contactless and simple switching point position, there are also programmable sensors with adjustable hysteresis and two adjustable switching points.
The MMS-P programmable magnetic switch is used to monitor the status of automated components. They can detect nearby magnets without contact and emit a digital signal when exceeding a specific switch value.

Interference Sources
The sensor can be affected by nearby magnetic fields. Motors, welding machines, permanent magnets, or magnetized materials such as Allen keys and metal swarf (also called soft magnets) can generate interfering magnetic fields.
